1 Yosemite National Park 


Yosemite National Park in Northern California is one of the United States' most beautiful and celebrated national parks. The recreation center offers both outdoors offices and, for anybody searching for somewhat more solace, the Big Sur Lodge. One of the highlights in the recreation center is Pfeiffer Falls, which is come to by the Valley View Trail. A branch off this trail prompts to the Valley Overlook with perspectives that stretch out to the sea and the Big Sur River Valley. 


Garrapata State Park is another well known region of Big Sur. The fundamental fascination here is Garrapat Beach, a long, wide, sickle molded extend of brilliant sand. Waves here can be enormous and it may not be the best to swim, but rather incredible for going for a walk and drenching up the sun. For those hoping to get a little practice there are likewise day climbing trails in the recreation center giving spectacular perspectives of the coastline, mountains, and redwoods. 


5 Lake Tahoe 


Lake Tahoe lies high in the mountains and is a lovely spot year round. In summer the lake is a play area for boaters and shoreline goers. Amid the winter months the encompassing mountains offer some fabulous landscape for skiing, with the Sugar Bowl Ski Area getting skiers from everywhere. 


6 Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park 


Known for their goliath redwoods, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks cover a territory of mountains with great stone pinnacles, profound crevasses, mountain lakes, streams and woodlands. The two parks are controlled as one. They extend from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in the west, on the edge of the San Joaquín Valley, to the primary edge of the Sierra Nevada in the east. Here Mount Whitney (14,495 ft) is the most elevated mountain in the U.S. (aside from Alaska), and numerous others crests reach more than 10,000 ft. 


Goliath Redwoods 


One of the principle highlights in the recreation center are the monster redwoods, which can achieve a tallness of 250-300 ft, a breadth of 40 ft, and can experience an amazing 3,500 years. Inside the recreation center are entire timberlands of these relentless redwood trees. In the upper east of the woods stands the General Sherman Tree; 276 ft tall, with a greatest breadth of 36.5 ft and 103 ft in boundary at the base, it is the biggest known redwood, and at around 3,000 years of age, it is one of the most established living trees on earth. 


Climbing Trails 


There are around 900 miles of tracks going through the two parks. The eastern piece of both parks, from which engine vehicles are banned, is crossed by the Pacific Crest Trail, here called the "John Muir Trail". The total trail is more than 1300 miles in length and goes through different national stops, and takes after the line of the edge of the Sierra Nevada and the Cascade Mountains the distance from the Mexican fringe to the Canadian outskirt. In the south of Sequoia National Park the 40 mile High Sierra Trail runs eastwards from the Giant Forest Area, through wonderful wide open and in the long run meets the John Muir Trail. 


7 Golden Gate Bridge
