Most projects are done with no paints or stains. I use only the finest hardwoods of various species for wood color and contrast. Only two colors are simulated and those are black, in which I use an home made solution for turning Walnut black to replace Ebony, and then for Green I use a light coat of stain on white or yellow wood.
