Country music
Country as a musical direction originated in rural areas of the United States. The songs and ballads performed by country musicians are similar in content to those of traditional rural folklore. Country music tends to have open guitar chords and a 2/4 or 4/4 rhythm. The form of vocal numbers is usually verse – solo singing and choral refrain

Wayne Arbesen notes that the people of the mountainous areas of the southeast welcomed improvements that made their lives easier, but did not seek to improve their culture; this may have been due to the stubbornness of the Scottish, Irish and German people who inhabited these mountainous areas.
The commercial recording industry began in the 1920s. Since October 1925 country music has been regularly played on the radio – the radio show “Grand Ole Opry” appeared, which still broadcasts live concerts of the best country bands and performers.

Joey+Rory – I’ll Fly Away
The album of the American duo Joey+Rory – “Hymns” became the best in 2016. Rory Lee Fick is the author of the popular country hit Some Beach, which was performed by Blake Shelton. In 2008, together with his wife, Rory founded a country song “Joey+Rory”. In 2014, Rory was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which led to her death in 2016. Hymns’ album was her dream.
Crowder – Prove It ft. KB
David Crowder, Christian singer, songwriter, founder of the David Crowder Band. In 2014, Crowder’s debut album “Neon Steeple” (Neon Spire) was released. He was ranked 8th in the Billboard’s list of 200 best albums of all genres and was number one in the charts of the best Christian and gospel albums.
In September of this year the premiere of the new video “Prove It” took place.
