Breast cancer surviver needs help with family
Mood:  down
August 30th 2006 I had a lumpectomy it was cancer. Went through 4 months of chemo, then 6 weeks of radiation and 52 weeks of hercepton injections to hopefully keep me from getting it again. In the middle of all this my little sister dies and I go and get her son and bring him home with me. Now he lives with me. Kept working through all of this and then my arm started going numb and had to get CT scan of my spine. Found out I have degenerative disk disease. Well can no longer do my job because I am a waitress and can't lift trays anymore. So changed jobs to train to be a pharmacy tech. Well could not do it because I have alot of chemo brain fog, which is where you can not multitask, you sometimes get confused and can not remember things. Have to carry a paper with me that has my name, address, how to get home and phone number just in case I forget or my mind goes blank. Anyway started looking for a different job and found out I have to get a biobsy of my uterus and ovaries on the 11th. Which means another surgery more than likely. Hopefully there is no cancer, am praying. My husband is working 2 full time jobs but it just is not enough for a family of 4 with all these medical bills piling up. Am behind on rent and pretty much everything. Will be unable to go back to work for at least another month, that is if I can find a job that will hire me. My car door latch broke so I have to drive with the door tied shut and I hardly have any brakes to speak of. Scares me just to drive. could use any kind of help possible. Have applied to all programs but can not get any help. Thank you. You can donate on my blog at http://afterchemo.blogspot.com/
