You may think your images are too red, not enough green etc, this is due to the fact that your PC monitor is different to everyone else's. How your PC sees color all depends on your PC, monitor, resolution and software used to view images. When getting your images printed you have a whole new set of issues. Get the same image printed in a 4x6 at a few printers and then compare who did the best job for you! Print on a Semi-Gloss paper to get a High Quality finish as Gloss can look rather tacky! If you want to make a book of your images please contact me for FREE advice.
I recommend the Croydon Camera House in Main Street Croydon or Lab X in St Kilda as l know what l see, is what l get. If you choose to go to Kmart, Harvey Norman etc, understand they use different inks, different machines and different paper.

Digital & Film are similar in that when you dropped off your film & picked up your prints, they were normally always printed as a 4x6 inch, this is the World Standard. Digital images are also normally sized to a 4x6. IF you want to print smaller or larger you have two options:-
OPTION A - You CROP the image to fit perfectly within the dimensions you desire.
OPTION B- You SHRINK your image to fit within the dimensions you desire, in which case the image itself will be slightly smaller and have bigger borders.
* There is no way around this printing dilemma & you should always talk to the printing staff before you use the instant print machines.*
