Different opinions of the Players favorite encounter
My favorite encounter to date would probably have to be Ragnaros back in the days of Molten Core. Back then, everything in Wow was a whole new experience for me, so finally pushing through to the end of MC felt like such an accomplishment. I remember when I started the game I used the wow key wow cd key to log in and began play the game.
Watching him explode into the screen for the first time was amazing, and then wiping shortly after that had happened. I still remember sitting in my room, with my friend on his laptop raiding alongside me, when we downed him for the first time. Ventrilo just erupted with yelling. Quite a few "orange hammers" could be heard through all the noise.
There was nothing that could compare to that first experience for me. Though I'm sure the girl whose family I was supposed to meet that day probably weren't fans of Rag and his Orange Hammer. As she appeared in my doorway shaking her head, right as he was defeated. A memorable experience says the least.
I always got a kick out of Trial of the Champion. I love jousting in the Argent Tournament and was excited to see it as a main part of the "dungeon." Also, killing the Black Knight over and over again only to come back and say he didn't need that life/flesh/body is always hilarious. Just buy wow game card to enjoy the fun.
I would have to say the Classic Stratholme's "TIMMY!"
When I for the first time searched ppl for a Stratholme run (ahhh the good old days) and after an half an hour or so we managed to get a pug together we entered the undead crawling hellhole. The whole dungeon was awesome but one of the best moments was when Timmy started running at us and yelling "TIMMYYY!" I almost choke on my drink out of laughter and my eyes were so soaked with tears of masochistic joy of laughter. I thought I was going to die (IRL) xD. My favorite encounter? It´s Hakkar from pre-4.2 patch. Why? Because of its mind controls. What is so good at mind controls? It´s strange but it´s fun to fight other raid members who you were fighting alongside with and when I was there for a first time I was confused and amazed what am I doing. If I could choose second best encounter it will be Sartharion or one of the small drakes of OS because they has so cool quotes. I can´t forget Sarth saying: "Burn, you miserable wretches!" so angry.
First of all, he's the spirit and father of Medivh. So this brings a ton of stories and lore. The fight has a bit of everything, which makes it exciting. And to add a bit of flavor, if someone in the group is carrying Atiesh, Great staff of the Guardian, he yells out "Where did you get that? Did HE send you?" Just awesome that Blizzard adds something like that to the game. So small, but has such an impact. All of his other voice acting and sayings just seems to fit perfectly.
