To Artemis Yardas-Gross, MSN-Ed, RN, owner and CEO of Acadia Career Institute, effective nursing is about much more than providing practical healthcare services to patients. It's her strong belief that nursing is both a science and a sacred art that addresses a patient's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs in close collaboration with physicians, other healthcare professionals and even the patient's loved ones.

This philosphy coupled with the current nationwide nursing shortage inspired Acadia to introduce an all-inclusive, one year, fast track Practical Nursing Program and LPN to RN program at Acadia Career Institute, which recently opened a new campus in Pemberville, Ohio.
