When I got my iPhone the first thing I did was go to the app store and check out every iPhone free apps that are available. As time has gone by, I've found that there is a handful of free apps I use far more than others.

Craigslist Mobile is one of the apps I use the most. I'm always on Craigslist buying and selling random things. Having Craigslist on my iPhone is great because I can always spot the best buys right when they get posted. The app really easy to use, much easier than going to the Craigslist website on Safari. Also it integrates with iPhone and many cool ways such as seeing where I am from my GPS and returning searches only in that area.

When I can't find something on Craigslist, the next place I check is Amazon. Lucky for me, the iPhone has an excellent free Amazon Mobile app. It even allows me to search by barcode scanner or photo. Before I buy something at a store, I always look it up on Amazon Mobile to see how good the deal is.

Another one of my favorite free apps for the iPhone is Google Earth. I'm kind of a geek and I find it really fun to explore and discover various places in the world from my phone. I find that before I travel to a new place, I'm always checking it out on Google Earth. It really helps me find my way around.

There are lots of great games in the Apple App Store. The one I keep playing the most is Words With Friends. If you haven't heard about it, it's a lot like Scrabble. What really makes it fun is that you can play with someone turn by turn over the internet. I'm pretty sure my vocabulary is even getting better as I play.
