I've been doing some experimenting with the magnetos in the Me109/110 using keyboard control and have got some results.

Check the ACM files in the MODELS folder for the Me109 & Me110 aircraft. At the top of the files, it has the lines:

Starter 2
MagType 2

Change it to the following:

Starter 2
MagType 1

This will give you keyboard control over the mags in the Me109, and the port engine ONLY in the Me110. Note that the Me110 has two blocks of data because of it having two engines. I've tried altering the MagType for engine #2 to MagType 1, but this has no effect, despite the fuel cocks, primers and engine starters working OK with the other keyboard functions.

My keyboard switch functions are set up as follows (actual commands are in itallics):

FK_ARMED
FK_BOOSTCUTOUT 29+10 (CTRL+9) this returns the max throttle output to 90%
FK_ELEVATORTRIM
FK_EMERGENCYUC
FK_ENGINESTARTER0 29+8 (CTRL+7) this is the ignition for all the single engine a/c, plus the port engine for the Me110
FK_ENGINESTARTER1 29+9 (CTRL+8 ) this is the ignition for the starboard engine of the Me110 only
FK_FUELCOCK1 29+4 (CTRL+3) this opens the left fuel cock on the Spit, Me110 and Stuka, opens the main fuel cock on the Me109, and rotates the fuel cock clockwise on the Hurri
FK_FUELCOCK2 29+5 (CTRL+4) this opens the right fuel cock on the Spit, Me110 and Stuka, closes the main fuel cock on the Me109, and rotates the fuel cock anticlockwise on the Hurri
FK_FUELCOCK3
FK_FUELCOCK4
FK_GUNCAM
FK_LANDING
FK_MAG01 29+2 (CTRL+1) this selects mag#1 on the Spit, Hurri, Stuka, and Me109, plus mag#1 on the Me110's port engine only
FK_MAG02 29+3 (CTRL+2) this selects mag#2 on the Spit, Hurri, Stuka and Me109, and mag#2 on the port engine only of the Me110
FK_MAGS1
FK_MAGS2
FK_PRIMER0 29+6 (CTRL+5) this pumps the primer on all the single engine a/c, plus the port engine of the Me110
FK_PRIMER1 29+7 (CTRL+6) this pumps the primer of the starboard engine of the Me110 only
FK_PROPPITCH0
FK_PROPPITCH1
FK_RUDDERTRIM
FK_THROTTLE0
FK_THROTTLE1

Now, you will notice that there are 2 sets of lines relating to Magnetos, and I have tried assigning functions to the following as below:

FK_MAGS1 56+2 (ALT+1)
FK_MAGS2 56+3 (ALT+2)

However this had no effect either.

There is one hiccup that is still hindering the Me110 which I have been reminded of during this testing, and that is of the engine cycle feature of this aircraft is broken.
You should be able to select any individual engine for operation, or obviously have both selected for simultaneous operation.
The default setting when first seated in the cockpit is "BOTH". If you then press "E" for engine cycling, the pilot announces "PORT", but if you move the throttle, both are still operated. If you press "E" again, the pilot announces "STARBOARD", but this time only the right engine is controlled. A third press of "E" then returns to "BOTH", and both engines function together.
Now, I don't know if this broken cycle if having an adverse effect on the assignment of keyboard functions.... the odd thing here is that the Magnetos on the starboard engine (for the moment) seem to be unassignable to the keyboard while the port ones work fine, however it is the port engine that you are unable to control.

You will also notice that the mag switches on all the aircraft and fuel cock switches on the Spitfire are "broken" as far as their independant operation goes (where individual switches are used rather than sliders/levers).
You cannot turn mag#2 on without mag#1 being on first, and mag#1 cannot be deselected without mag#2 being off. The same applies to the fuel cock switches on the Spitfire.

I will have more of a fiddle later on as time allows, however I hope the above may be of some help and a good starting block with other folks experiments in this area.

Cheers!
