Flight Reports

Date:02/18/2004 Altitude (A.G.L.): est. 450ft Speed:  ? Recovery: barely
Wind:  ssw @ 8-10mph WOW it flew.  well I knew it would just not that well.  it took off like a bandit, flew to what I guess to be 450-ish.  then went horizontal, flew for a bit and then the eject charge blew. that is when it went to pieces.  Shock cord came loose and nose came down under chute. Body, lawn darted and separated and the first roller (nose end), and broke loose the segment near the end where there was evidence of "blow Through" burns in the fur.  Also, Busted a fin.  Over all decent, it (F*^KIN' FLEW!!!).  I want to improve this.  Known problems, inside the tubes is so smooth that 2-part epoxy can't even hold.  I roughed the insides with 1k grit paper, but I need to do more.  Questions to ask.  1.  it flew horizontal, perpendicular to the wind,  why?  any help hit me at obtmach1@sbcglobal.net
