Once in a while an idea comes along that sucks you in and captured your imagination. This idea is the 'Glyos System' by Onell Designs, created by Matt Doughty. In a nutshell they're action figures that stand 2.75 inches tall and made up of 13 pieces that can be swapped out and rearranged between all the figures in the series. I know, you're thinking Stikfas right? Wrong! These are made from durable pvc plastic and aren't mass-produced retail figures, the designs unique and full of the creator's vision. With each wave Matt and his team produce different characters and different parts that can all be combined. There's your three basic humanoids Pheyden, Exellis, and Sarvos. Then you get into the newer, more complex ones like Buildman made up of even more pieces with additional plugs and joints. There are also the diminutive Craboth, little Invid-crab-like creatures. With so many parts the combinations are incredible! Customizing your Glyos is easy since the plastic is pvc, pretty much the same stuff Marvel Legends are made of. You can buy the complete figures from their Shop, but if you're just going to paint them up, head over to their Junk Shop where you can pick up mismatched and oddly-painted versions for half the price!
