Ocean World Aquarium, Kaohsiung. This aquarium is very much worth visiting. It has a good collection of unusual and interesting sea creatures, and the structure was originally a bomb shelter for Chiang Kai-Shek. As you can see from the front entrance, he wasn't taking any chances!
Throughout the aquarium are descriptions of what each room, space, and feature was originally designed for. Here you see how Chiang Kai-Shek's soldiers could hold off and mow down Mao Zedong's minions if they ever got through the nuclear blast door!
