Apparently a picture of the

or friend. No names were given.

These
picture postcards used to be more popular than they are now. Made from a favorite picture, they were used whenever less than a full letter was needed.

This one is addressed to "Mr. Paul Fiddler" [sic] at Palmer, WV, postmarked May 21, 1914, the
Paul being of course my great uncle
Paul McAvoy Fidler. The text reads:

     Hello Paul
Say I got your clothes alright and have got
them here at our house. And I thought maybe
that you could come over and get them sat.
the 03 of this mo. Arlington is coming over
to Ellamore then and if you could come over
to the game and take your clothes back with
you  Ellamore beat Arlington the other time
17 to 2  do you know these [illegible]

Write and tell me whether you will come or
     not
