NWA History

Feb. 3rd, 2003:

After running a failed promotion 2 years ago and being out of the business that long, Rip Noble is being backed by a wealthy sponsor. He is giving it another go as Owner and CEO of an organization. He is starting the Northeast Wrestling Alliance that will tour small venues in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. He also signed a deal with all four states local Public Broadcasting Systems to air a weekly show every Saturday night. Rip then hired former independent wrestler J.R. Storm to be the NWA Commissioner. The both of them are touring the nation to sign some of the best Indy talent around. When they get 12 active wrestlers the organization will begin.

Feb. 15th, 2003:

The NWA staged their first show in Bangor, Maine. In front of a crowd of about 88 people the Northeast Wrestling Alliance put on a card with five tremendous matches. The show was a success and the NWA looks for success of their show, Showdown, in the future.
