Hello folks and
welcome back for the second of "Chuck's Rumors." I of course, am the
one and the only (I think)Chuck Watson. I just want to begin by sending my
condolences to the family of Vince Zoom, who is confined to a hospital bed after
the sick actions of Jack this past week on Showdown. I for one don’t
understand how the NWA can condone the actions of this freak. I want to state
that I in no way condone these actions even thou I am an NWA employee.
Now on to the wrestling
side of things. I want to say that the NWA put out an amazing show for the
second week in a row. We had five matches including two involving Jack. Now, I
am not going to comment on his “Match” with Vince Zoom, because that was
disgusting. But I thought he displayed good wrestling ability in his match with
G-Money. The after match attack was, however, un-called for. I think Jack is
being a total coward with these attacks and I can’t wait to see someone return
the favor. Maybe Rays will be able to do it this week.
Speaking of Rays, this week
he took on Mr. Nastee. The build up to this match was very entertaining and the
match did no disappoint. In two weeks Michael Rays has been in two of the most
exciting matches. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Other matches this week
were the four way and Jason Blaze against Eric Ensane. The main event was a much
better main event then the week before, so I guess that is a bright spot. Blaze
proved that he doesn’t need Tavein to be successful as he scored the win over
Ensane. In the four way we saw Tavein put up quite an effort for himself to
ultimately come up short against Mario Stockton. The fans have taken a liking to
Mr. Stockton and I must say I just don’t understand it. I mean, don’t get me
wrong, he is a tremendous wrestler. I just think he may try to hard. But hey, he
has the #1 spot in the tourney and I don’t. So I guess whatever is good for
the NWA is good for me.
Looking ahead to this week
we have four matches on tap. Three of them being TV title tournament matches and
the other being a seemly uninteresting match between Tavein Xtreme and Scorpion,
two of the men that battle in this past weeks four way. I will predict this
match first because it is the easiest to call. Come on? Xtreme made a good
showing last week and Scorpion didn’t. It will be the same this week. Matter
of time before the door hits Scorpion’s ass on his way outta here. WINNER:
Tavein Xtreme
All of the next matches are
tough to call. This tournament is really taking shape and it could get real
good, real fast. The first one is Jason Blaze and Mr. Nastee. Blaze is coming
off a huge main event win over Ensane while Mr. Nastee impressed me last week
against Rays. Nastee is an up and coming talent. Yet, until we get a tag
division Blaze is going to be a singles star. Could go either way but I think
Blaze will ride his momentum into this week. WINNER: Jason Blaze
Then we have “Psycho Killer” Jack against Michael Rays which, in my opinion, will be the match of the night. That is right, Michael Rays will have the match of the night for the third week in a row. So far he’s 1-1. But too bad for Rays, I see him dropping to 1-2. With Commish Storm behind Jack I don’t see him having a first round exit. Hopefully Rays will prove me wrong. WINNER: Jack
And
in the Main Event Eric Ensane will face DICK. Why do the NWA officials insist in
putting Ensane in the main event? I think he proved last week he doesn’t
belong in this slot. I guess I will give him one more week to prove me wrong.
Now as far as this DICK character, his debut last week sent shockwaves down to
the foundation of the NWA. We are no doubt ably going to see more and this may
be the most controversial character since a certain gold boy back in 96. I like
it. WINNER: DICK
Now for my one liners...
All this talk about Michael
Jackson and little kids, Someone needs to look into Mario Stockton.
Goodbye Eagle,
Rampage, and Vince Zoom from all of us in the NWA. If G-Money, Scorpion, and
Ensane don’t shape up, there close behind.
The NWA will soon be
debuting someone who will put the ED un “uneducated.”
I am a little short
on one liners this week, but as always, it’s been your pleasure. I will be
back next Monday.
