In addition to proving afghans for parents who have lost a child to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death, I am in the process of starting a non profit resource center so that parents will have a centralized place for information in our communities.

While it is still in the early stages of planning, I could you some help doing research. I am looking for people who have lost a child or know someone that has or if you are involved with people who have suffered a loss, please email me for some questionnaires.

The resource center will provide a support group, a store for memorial items and a list of local resources such as funeral homes,cemetaries, and gravemarkers that offer special services for families who have lost a child.

We will offer rememberence ceremonies, a memorial garden, and events to raise awareness of Pregnancy and Infant Loss.

If you are interested in helping start this non-profit center or if you have a service that you would like to donate please let me know. If we can get enough members together, I'd like to get together and discuss the ideas.

I am also trying to make memory boxes for parents and hospitals that do not provide them. In addition to blankts, hats/booties, or an outfit I would like to include a small stuffed animal, a picture frame or baby brag book, a travel baby powder and baby lotion. More items may be added but this is what currently is planned.
