Writing essays is something of a lost art. But, it remains one of my favorite things to read. One of my favorite writers is Harlan Ellison. As talented a fiction writer that he is, I often find his essays to be even more entertaining and enjoyable. His collections of essays (THE GLASS TEAT, THE OTHER GLASS TEAT, and HARLAN ELLISON'S WATCHING) are some of my all time favorite books. So, in imitation of Harlan, I am attempting to write my own column.
Every week, I am going to post a new essay. The topics will range from life in general to media to comics to whatever happens to be on my mind at the time.
I invite you to come inside and see the things that I think about. But let me warn you, it's pretty dark in there and sometimes the things in there can get pretty cranky!
