Some other fun vehicles I have owned
A 1977 Toyota Pick Up STREEETCHED into a Five passenger Truck with a 231 CID Buick V6 and Turbo 350 Trans cramed under the hood, Chrome visor, SST CRAGERS w/BF Goodrich tires, custom diamond tuck interior, very nice, was also a wreck when I found it.
This baby hauled ass, and rode very nice, carried family and camping gear plus trailer on back hauled my 4 honda ATV's to the beach.
My 1982 Chev Camaro IROC 4sp muncie, 305 hp cid 16 inch wheels, this car was amazing, bone stock, but would squack 4th gear at a very wicked 110 MPH,
I got it without a motor, dropped in the stock 305 out of my black GMC truck into it and she came alive, I sold it soon after mainly because it just wanted to go fast all the time and it was gonna get me into trouble :) next to it is my 1971 Custom Datsun 510
This was the 5th and final Datsun 510 I have owned thru the years, and by far the nicest, it was customized when I got it, featuring the only one with a vinyl top, and factory A/C that worked very well, custom suspension, triple S head, custom wheels and paint, was a sweet lil DATSUN 510.
And My 1982 BLACK GMC C15 Shortbox LOWRIDER
Stuffed with a early 350 CID 4 bolt and Turbo 700R4 Trans, Lowered with 50 series BF Goodrich all around 8 inch wide directional wheels, this baby rocked, I had a Edelbrock acudrive geardrive timing setup, all Edelbrock Signature Series aluminum, and punched out 30 over, forged flat tops w/reliefs, weind stealth intake under a quadrajet carb
I wished I had more pics, this was all I could dig up
>
The engine was previously in a Jet Boat, with a very large and polished Dual Quad Weind Tunnelram Intake with two 400 cfm Holleys sitting on top, I was going to use it in the truck but then decided against it as it was also my daily driver, the gas (and my heavy foot) would have killed me lol, The stock 305 went into the black camaro above.
My Newest Project
My Latest Project... a 1987 Toyota Celica GT with 271,000 miles on her and all original running gear, runs excellent, and uses no oil nor smokes at all, great fun to drive, and currently replacing and refurbishing every aspect of her, new interior, replaced alot of switches, adding a rear GT-S spoiler and electric antenae, also replacing seats with nice volour buckets from the same GT-S i found in boneyard, along with rear seat to match, all side inserts to match and carpet, all in very nice shape, mine was worn quite a bit. replaced all factory speakers which in mine were shot, the replacements are like new.
Bought this car originally bout 9 yrs ago for the now ex. she drove the piss outta it then eventially gave it to my daughter, who drove the piss outta her some more, then she got a new car and parked this one, my chrysler broke down, so i borrowed the celica from her, with intent on selling it for her, come xmas time, i asked her to go down and get new tabs for it and she said "Merry Xmas, i am signing the title over to you,".
Cool, i was really getting attached to it, and wanted to do so many things with it, and now i can, its a gem worth the TLC.
Here are some pics i took march 26, 2006, and so far all i have done really is rub it out, was almost dirty white, now it shines bright, and lots of lil stuff like put front seats in temporarily, till i redo whole interior, and replaced alot of switches inside, like mirror, window, cruise control, and l/h window motor, also replaced broken windshield, real hatch seal, added driving lights, and still cleaning every lil crack and crevice, adding factory mudflaps, have rear, need fronts, will have more pics as i progress with it but for now she is shaping up real good.
WHOOPS, GOT ANOTHER RIDE
1994 CHEVY S-10 4X4 EXT CAB W/4.3 VORTEX AND AUTO
I had a thousand bucks from income tax that I wanted to get like a 88-91 s-10 ext cab pickup, need a truck to tow the boat to go fishing you know?
So I am lookin and lookin on craigs list for say 2 months with very poor results or just missing out on that nice deal, then here is this posting... 2 lines "1994 chevy s10 4x4 dont run 800 bucks", I respond with email, no response so I figured it was gone, no pics were on add too so sight unseen.
Week later I am browsing Craigslist again, nothin there, then I looked in my CL's saved file and here was that listing so I clicked on it, add still running, I email again leaving my number, he calls me hour later, still has it, I go look, and OMG!!!
Just Found some Rims for it, and put some new Tires on em, polished em up and What a difference!!!
Well I gave him $760.00 for it, put a cap and rotor and wires plugs, it fired right up and drove it home, cleaned it up and what a beauty it is, this is a nice ride and looks good, 152k on her and she runs sweet, did have to put a trani in it, but they never changed the fluid just the oil.
Now I am looking for some nice chrome wheels for it, should really change its looks
Update, Found some really nice wheels for it, in a wrecking yard lol, so polished them up, they looked like old nickles when I got them, man they shine like chrome now, what a difference it made.
