On March 10, 2002, Jesse and Gladys Jacobs and Ray and Jetta Bourne held the Third Gathering
of Las Animas Transplants (and winter visitors) at the Jacobs' home at 1201 North Alzora Way, Tolleson, Arizona 85353.

Forty-five persons attended as follows:
George and Diana Archuleta of La Barge, Wyo., Gerald and Patricia Bach of Glendale, Ariz., Ken and Mary Bach of Phoenix, Bill and Sharon Bewley of Phoenix, Ray and Jetta Bourne of Scottsdale, Duane and Helen (Adamson) Burton of Boulder, Colo., Paul and Evelyn Findley of Apache Junction, Ariz., Bob and Elva Foulk, Las Animas, Colo., Ken and Doris Hickam of Apache Junction, Ariz., Gene and Janet Holman of Tucson, Marjorie Hutchinson of Las Animas, Stuart and Judy Jantzen of Huachuca City, Ariz., Ron and Joyce Jerman of Wheat Ridge, Colo., Pete and Bonnie (and son Jeff) Jones of Scottsdale, Jack and Diane Kelly of Prescott, Ariz., Gary and Kathy Lamme of Phoenix, Ken and Jean Lantz of Aurora, Colo., Delbert and Betty Lusk, Buckeye, Ariz.,Virginia Maruyama Chapman of Glendale, Ariz ( and Jonie Fournier of Glendale and Cara Chapman of Thompson, Ia.,) Madge Moore of Mesa, Ariz., Virgil and Annabelle (Delaney) Parcels of Sun City, Ariz., Pete and Sue Willburn of Thorne Bay, Alaska, and Iris Jean Wolf of Las Animas.

Thirty two persons attended the Second Gathering of Las Animas Transplants last year which was also held at the Jacobs' home. Plans are being made to hold a Fourth Gatherining at the Jacobs' home next year on the second Sunday in March 2003.
