Commonly used slang in the DID world.
Alter: An identity or personality state as described on the front page.
Cutter: Someone that participates in a certain form of self mutilation where the skin is scratched, sliced, or cut.
Dark: An "evil" alter, a self mutilator, or an angry alter.
Helper: An alter that takes care of the other alters or watches out for the system.
Host: The personality that is ion controll of the body most of the time. Usually the original or birth child.
Intigrated:
Little: A child alter
SO: Significant other. Loved one to a multiple.
Switching: The process of switching from one alter to another.
System: The word for everyone that shares the body. The legal entity.
T: Therapist
Trigger: Something of a violent or explicit nature that may cause switching or flashbacks.
