| It is known that the Gamson family, originally from Plunkyan, is part of the Gamzu family, including Gamsu, Gamza, ... families. A great number of the various branches of the Gamsu family came from Plunge (was Plungian). Also, the Gordon family from Gargsdai (then called Gorzd) were tied in with the Gamzu's (Gamsu, Gamza, etc) who were also from the same general area of Lithuania. |
