Life can offer every
kind of distraction imaginable! If
there is nothing in your life today to distract from the things that God has in
mind for you… you can count on them to try to sneak into your life tomorrow, or
next week. It’s all part of the growing
process.

Remember the story of
the “seed” in Matthew 13? Seed was planted in good soil and in rocky soil. Some
seed took root, other seed had no roots. The seed planted in the good soil took
root and produced fruit.
.
What has God planted in your heart, in regards to His
Kingdom? What in life has come to rob
you of those things?
.
The things that God
planted in your heart, perhaps years ago – His plans and purpose for your life…
is that still the focus of your life? Is that still the
treasure, the goal, the thing that you’re moving toward and preparing for, with
a passion? Or, has the enemy of your soul so distracted
you with the cares of this world, or with the temptations of his offerings –
that you lost sight of those things that God planted in your heart?

In Proverb 29:18 “My people perish for lack of knowledge”
– the word “PERISH” literally means: “to throw off restraints.” When we don’t have a GOAL in sight – no VISION to run toward, we throw
off all restraints, and flounder around like a marathon-runner who has lost his
sense of direction.
.
It is VITAL to our
spiritual life – to get hold of vision, recognize the things that God has
called us to, and gifted us for; HANG ON to the things that God planted on the
inside of you! Don’t allow
distractions or discouragement to defeat you! GOD is GOD, and He is more than able to
complete the work that He began in you! Amen?
.
VISION HAS
its OWN TIME-SCHEDULE, AND NO ONE HAS TO KNOCK DOWN DOORS OR BULLDOZE THEIR WAY
INTO THAT PLAN! RELAX!! SEEK
.
Be patient, trust God! He is busy perfecting all things that
concern you, and He will move you into destiny, if you simply focus on Him!
