A carnal Christian

You
may be born-again, but if you do not spend time each day in personal fellowship
with the Holy Spirit (that most important part of God He sent to help us know
Him), you are a carnal Christian.
God
gave his son, Jesus, (that part of God He sent for us to see and to be our
example) so you could be forgiven and choose Jesus as your Savior and Lord,
and have fellowship with Him as in the garden in the beginning. If you set this part aside, you are missing
the BEST part, and depriving God of the part He created us for . . .
fellowship!
The
good you do as a carnal Christian will bring you no reward in Heaven . . . it
will be as hay and stubble and be consumed in fire.
Maturity
in the Spirit, and the “Fruits of the Spirit” are
developed by personally knowing the Holy Spirit. You must make Him your best friend.
How
many of your best friends got to be your best friends without spending a lot of
time with them in fellowship; getting to know how they think and how they would
react or respond in any given situation?
YOU
NEED TO KNOW GOD AT LEAST THAT WELL!
