Please allow me to introduce you to sweet little Victoria Smoak. Victoria is small in size, but has a big and compassionate heart for others. I have known Victoria for about a year. The first things that caught my attention, in Victoria’s life - is that beautiful smile, the friendly welcome she always extends to others, and the compassionate heart that she is not afraid to express.  I believe that Victoria’s down-to-earth, transparent way of sharing the goodness of God, and what His Word means to her – will encourage others, and be a blessing to our readers at Strombolis.

Victoria Smoak is a single mother of one fourteen-year-old. She currently resides in Washington State, and is a member of New Hope City Church.

Victoria grew up in a loving Christian home until the age of eighteen, and then spent many years away from church and that comfort from the Lord; always feeling the emptiness away from the Love of our Father.

In January 2005 Victoria hit rock bottom and suffered depression, loneliness, Kidney Disease, etc. She knew then she needed God's faithful love and guidance to pull through. After visiting five churches in the area, she made NHCC her place to worship the Lord.

Victoria has since made a new relationship with our Father, and is so excited to see the new reflection in the mirror that God has created. Victoria has made many new friends at NHCC, is involved in several areas of ministry, including her newest joy, the children's department.

Most of all Victoria is not afraid of what God has called her to do, and is very excited for the New Year. She knows God wants her at peace, and His peace is being released in her life daily. With the Lord in her life forever, she will win any battle life brings her way!!!!
