Hello my first year class,since this is your first potions class I will go a tad easier on you, but don't exspect this ever ever ever again.
You are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potion making. As there is little foolish wand waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic. I don't exspect you to really understand the beauty of a softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the sences... I can teach you how to bottle fame and brew glory, even stopper death- if you aren't a bunch of dudder I used to teach.

What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?

What is the difference between monkshood and wolfsbane?
For your information class, asphodel and wormwood making a sleeping draft known as the Draught of the Living Dead. A bezoar is a stone taken from a goats stomach and it will save you from most poisons. As for monkshood and wolfsbane, they are the same plant also known as aconite.
