Welcome to the Winner's Circle Vet Clinic (WCVC). We love to see our clients happy and healthy, that goes for our hooved ones as well.
We all dream of our horses perfectly healthy with nothing ever going wrong. Unfortunately, as everyone who has spent any amount of time around horses knows, horses seem to enjoy finding ways to get themselves hurt.
There are certain things that every horse must have done yearly. Coggins tests are REQUIRED for every horse. Any horse that does not have one will be put in quarantine and not let out until it does. And trust me, it's a lot cheaper to keep it current.
Also, twice a year all horses need shots. Just the basics, Tetus, Influenza, Strangles, etc. are given then. That should be all that is necessary.
Every two to three months your horses should be wormed if using a paste wormer, but I assume all owners can manage that on their own. If you prefer to have a perscription wormer which is only needed twice per year I'll be glad to come out and do it.
* Coggins is required on ALL new horses and every year!! if your horse is coughing and won't eat cotact me ASAP!! If you don't give your horse the neccesary treatments you will face a certain penalty!
