THE SUM WHAT OF BUGADA

meet TIMMY!! greet Los smell Zach's farts who is that ugly fucker Wes?
We began our band in late August of 2000. In other words we haven't been around for too long. Los Conner (rhythem guitar), Zach Ramos (drums), and I (vocals and lead guitar) were partying at a house in Eunice, NM. It was nearing the end of the party and the idea of starting a band sounded like a grand idea. Loaded on booze we packed up Zach's chevette with drums, guitars, and amps. We made it all the way to my house where we didn't do shit but fell asleep. It wasn't till a week or two later when we had our first jam session at Carlos' house.

From my perspective...
Zach and I were big dorks and rejects our senior year of highschool. We were both in band and choir and were suppose to run a radio station that never took off. Zach played in other bands, nothing punk rock or of that nature. He played in like jazz bands and bullshit like that. His talent wasn't greatly used then.
Los started playing guitar early summer 2000. In highschool, his freshman -my senior year, he'd come to my car during my cigarette break before going to his next class. He would say hello and stuff but I never really put no thought to it. Ofcourse I never thought I'd be in a band with him either.
TIMMY!! plays bass for us. When we got started like I brought this up earlier, we didn't have a bass player. TIMMY!! listens to more metal than all of us, considering I don't listen to any. His bass skills really come in handy when we put together songs. It's no doubt how important it is in our music. -he just needs to make it to more practices.

Now you know who we are. This is what we do. Our jams are pretty testosterone filled, complete with beer and too much sausage. It's rare we get any groupies that come often so we invite any one and everyone to come to our jams.
Our music has been compared to the like of the Germs with a hint of GG Allin, but ofcourse we're all out here in the New Mexico desert so we have a tint of rock-a-billy(or whatever) so that gives us a little Social D in our rythems. Being that bands like Op Ivy and Dropkick Murphys are on the top of my favorite bands, the lyrics tend to reach that working class oi band feel. But don't get me wrong, songs like "Look At Me Now" and "Nolan Has A Small Penis" are not at all shot that direction.
Most songs are written by all of Bugada being that each member has there own part. We all put in our own bits and pieces which is the basis of our music. Somehow it comes together making our sound what it is, a contrast.

I do not wish to call us punk. None of us ARE punks, probably none of us will BE punks. Our music is aggressive, full faced, fast and loud... not blink182 bullshit
