Hope Velorno, age 14
Hope is the main character of this story. She has confusion like any other teenager. She struggles with herself and her surroundings. She doesn't know where to channel her frustration and who to trust.
Morgan Santan, age 14
Morgan is Hope's step sister and is a key part in Hope's life. She is insecure and materialistic while trying very hard to mature to other people's standards.
Whitney Velorno, age 16
Whitney is Hope's supposed full sister but in reality is her halfsister. She is very jealous and determined to keep Hope and her problems far away.
Brad Velorno, age 17
Brad is Hope's supposed full brother but actually her half brother. Brad is selfless and and watches out for his family. He is sensitive toward Hope and her feelings and tries to act like an innocent hero in most situations.
Amy Santan/Velorno
Amy is Hope's stepmom. Amy hops a special place in Hope's heart for being a caring human being in all situations. Amy plays her role as stepmom in the best way she know how; by being a friend.
Nick Velorno
Nick is Hope's father. He has been Hope's one constant throughout her whole life. Nick is a key role in the way Hope thinks about things and influences her in a way that will benefit her well being.
Bailey, Alyssa and Julie ages 14
Bailey, Alyssa and Julie are three people Hope has never been without. Hope never looks to them for comfort and feels like she is being unfair to them when they really have a right to know what goes on in her life.
