raven's poems

well ... the new addition is moving quite along. i'm really pleased with it. we have a few poems already up in the coffeehouse, and as soon as i write a *new* poem, i'll get the critique section going as well, hopefully. i have to give most of the credit to the new forum to my new friend scara, whom i only met a few days ago on the trusty sinfest forum. he's the one who told me that i should go ahead and do it.

"if you build it, they will come."

or so they say. right now you can only get to the forum from the front page because i'm too lazy to set up links from everywhere else. ^_^ oh well. most of the people who are going to the forum have the link separate and don't even come to this part of my page. but that's ok. any way to share poetry is fun for me, and i think scara noticed that right off. that's why he sent me on my mission to creating a forum for myself. my hope is that we get a lot of new people, tho. so spread the word!!! "the more, the merrier," as they always say. ^_^

p.s. the link on the poem "fucking" is working now.

the poems

lovesick heartsongs

melt
your secret vines ...
sentence poem
i will breathe a little less heavily ...
i wish i knew ...
good midnight lost horizon ...
we are the music box waltzers ...
let's fly away
when you leave me ...
only words
for nick
dammit ...
oh find me ...
tonight i think you smiled ...

screaming in silence

fucking
god made of mirages
noah
what she's having
the beast of breath
for beth
no such promise kept
i'll never understand ...
between midnight and 3am
he is one of those inflatable clowns ...
i once read a horror story about a man ...

midnights, blood, and shadows

bleed
last year ...
i saw the most disturbing thing today ...
my body
napkin poem
there's a strong sense of surrender ...
fuzzy dice
at night ...
past prom-queen
you watched him pale and fade away ...
my first poem: escape
love and loathing
there is a midnight in all of us ...
rosary
mary kept on crying ...
after they all go home ...
their father
hollow autumn
scream
