Gengar are very silly Pokémon outside of battle. When a full moon comes out, Gengar like to sneak behind people. They pretend to be the person's shadow, and laugh at the person's fear. Gengar and its previous evolutions are said to haunt Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town.
