Brian Henson

Brian Henson was twenty-seven years old when he was named president of Jim Henson Productions, but by then he had been making valuable contributions to the company for a decade.
"[Jim] was my father and my mentor. We loved to work together, whether as a child doing yard work or as adults creating some complicated puppet effect. Work and play were really one and the same to him. 'If you can't find a way to really enjoy what you're doing, why do it?' That was a great outlook on life, and particularly attractive to me as a child.
"Of course, later on, I realized it was his abilityh find something fresh and exciting in everything that made his outlook work. His energy was like some wildly addictive drug; hours and hours were lost in a cloud of frenetic enthusiasm."
