Multi-Part 20

Skye walked back to the small campsight. She had gotten the answer out of Misao about who her link was. But instead of having the problem ended, she felt that there was something she was missing, and only made her more confused on the whole situation. She sat down next to the others to think.
"Is something bothering you?" asked Mike
"Oh no, nothing" Skye responded
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, just thinking about my mom and the links, and everything else that's happened lately"
"Ok". He then bent over and gave her a small kiss on the cheek.
Skye smiled warmly up at Mike, then stood up.
Billy, Janice, Jason, Sarah, and Darren walked up from out of the woods carrying firewood.
"Hey Skye, where's Misao?" asked Darren
"Oh, just doing some training for tomorrow"
"I think I'm starting to understand Darren's idea" said Sarah. "It's simple when you really look at it". She then started to scribble equations in the dirt. "See?"
"I think I'll just battle with skill" said Janice staring blankly.
"I'm with ya on that one sis" added Jason.
"So, who's battling in the second round tomorrow?" asked Billy
"I think that our six best are Sarah, Janice, Jason, Mike, Skye, and Misao" said Darren "Cozmo would be a seventh, but he's not here, so we'll have to do without him"
"We should start training for tomorrow" said Jason
"Yeah, this battle determines the fate of these islands" said Sarah
"And Cozmo" added Billy
"Right. So let's start training"
Mike, Skye, Janice, Jason, and Sarah gathered up their pokeballs and went off into the woods for training. Jason and Janice went east, Sarah south, and Mike and Skye headed to the north.

With Misao and Aoshi~
A small beeping sound came from Misao's bag. She reached inside and grabbed a small com-link [AN: like from Star Wars] and turned it on.
"Yes? Misao speaking"
"Misao, I presume everything is going according to plan?"
"Yes Master Mewgi, nobody suspects a thing"
"Good. Now, about battle matters. I cannot lose this battle tomorrow, I can't belive I lost today, is there something I should know?"
"There is a strong bond between Skye and Mike lately, ever since Skye disappeared into the forest..."
"No! she couldn't have discovered her power! This must be stopped; if the link with her is now open, she can combine with the other powers of Janice, Jason, and Mike and destroy me"
"Power?"
"No matter, I can solve this problem. All I have to do is stop her training with Mike before her power reaches it's full potential, and I think I know how...Bye Misao"
"bye" with that, Misao switched off her com-link and placed it back in her bag. 'I wonder what he's planning now' she thought.

With Mike and Skye~
"Blackie, go!" commanded Skye
"Ok, let's see what this guy does" Mike said, taking out his IN-DEX.
`Blackie- the evil evolution of Eevee. It's known attacks are tail whip, sand attack, night shade, final blow, quick attack, confuse ray, screech, and lucky light`
"Neat" said Skye
"Ok, let's start practicing" said Mike
Suddenly, Mike turned his head, he thought he heard a familiar voice. He tried to concentrate, but the voice came again, calling his name.
"Hey Skye, I'll be right back, I thought I heard something. Keep practicing though" said Mike
"Ok, hurry back" said Skye
Mike heard it again, this time more clear. He walked into the forest farther and farther [AN: The characters have a lot to do with going deep into forests latetly, hehe]. Soon, the voice seemed so close. He could tell who it was. He walked a few steps further and saw her, Misty, standing against a tree looking around confused [AN: Misty came from The Pokemon Files].
"Misty?" Mikes questioned "What are you doing here?"
"Mike!" she ran up and through her arms around him "What is this place? where are we?"
Mike was a mixture of happy, sad, and confused. What was Misty doing here? how did she get here?

1 hour later~
Skye re-called her pokemon and sat on a tree stump, then gazed in the direction where Mike walked off.
"Where is he?" she asked to her herself "Maybe I'll go find him...or, better yet, I'll teleport to him! that is, if I can figure out how to do it again"
Skye focused on Mike, and started glowing a light shade of blue and soon teleported. She fell behind a tree. She could hear talking, and she peered around the tree, seeing Mike and another girl. He had his arm around her, and her head rested on his shoulder. Skye couldn't make out what they were saying, but she had seen enough. Suddenly her emotions took over, and she abruptly turned around and ran through the thick mass of trees. Mike thought he heard movement, but figured it was just a pokemon or something. He couldn't help but thinking he should get back to Skye.

later~
Mike and Misty walked into camp.
"Has anyone seen Skye? she wasn't at the place we were practicing" Mike asked
"Who's Skye?" asked Misty
Billy walked up. "Where have you been?" she asked Mike, not paying attention to the redhead next to him. "First of all, Misao isn't back yet. Second, why weren't you training with Skye, and what happened between you two? she came running back here crying, and won't tell anyone what's wrong".
"Oh no..." Mike siad quietly
"Hey, who's this?" asked Jason looking at Misty
"I'm Misty"
Janice, Sarah, and Darren walked over and started talking to Misty. Mike took the opportunity and snuck away from the small group to find Skye. He finally found her laying on the ground behing a bush on her stomach with her face down on her arms.
"Hi Skye" Mike said. Skye gave no response "Look, I'm sorry about not coming back to you, I, well, was sidetracked"
Skye sat up, she had tear stained eyes. "How long have you been seeing this girl? I now know where you went every night. I can't belive you led me on to beliving you liked me"
Mike looked nervous, he hadn't known see knew he was with Misty earlier when he was in the woods. "Her name is Misty, I've known her since before I came here. But you've misunderstood, I only found her here today. I swear, every night I just snuck out to practice. I really do like you, I wasn't leading you on."
"Look me in the eyes and say that"
Mike took her hands and pulled her up so she was standing. He then looked into her eyes, he leaned in in and wrapped his arms around her. Soon, there lips met.
