Well what an amazing weekend!! A little party on Saturday night with some very tipsy girls ... volleyball was interesting (cartoon character sounds and faces in the grass),"I touched it", drinking if you missed ... "are you drunk yet? "no" "let's drink the beer if we touch the ball, and the Wild Vines if we don't" ... "sounds good to me!!", a really neat game called "I Never" - the things you can learn about people without even asking (and of course the Queen of the I Never game), the crashers of the party - MOLSON DRY PARTY PATROL CAME!!!!!!! ;-) So we got some free beer, the winner of the cariboo contest got a t-shirt, and we're on the internet ;-)(I'll post the pics when they come out) and we all got tatoos ;-), I got to have a friend sit on my lap for a picture ... hmm that will look interesting for my boyfriend to see, then there was the amazing feet of playing badminton ... "oops ... tat not good, tat's better...", plenty of giggles and loud laughter was had by all, and I think I really freaked out my lift ... but it's all good. Later that night was even better - hearing something I never thought I'd hear (I think I'm falling for you) it's just too bad I didn't have the guts, nerve, or whatever to say it back. Sunday was a day to just kick back and relax ... had a nice bike ride after supper, then a night swim. Well the way we were swimming I'm not sure if you could call it relaxing but whatever. Today was a good day as well. Got to take my written test for my driving license ... and now I've got my learner's permit so this will be interesting for my dad now .... let's see how many more gray hairs I can add to his head ... ;-) Tomorrow is a big day at my church's Annual Steak Dinner ... I'll be slaving over a hot BBQ from 5 to 8 and probably sweating bullets ... althought this is the first year it's air conditioned so it won't be that bad. Hope it all goes well. Tomorrow my sweetie of a boyfriend will be registering me for all my classes at 6pm ... hope that goes all well too. Thank you ;-* ... and that it's for now I think ... gotta get up to load BBQs into a trailer and deliver them to the church by noon so I'd best be getting to sleep now. ;-)

Party preparations are up and running. Just a few last minute details to work out before Saturday night. Once it's all over it's the official end of summer ;-( I can't believe how fast it went by. School is starting in exactly a week. I hope all goes well. I'm a little excited, a little nervous ... or maybe that's alot. Either way I've got a good support team backing me up and encouraging me to keep on trucking ... I'm only hoping not to disappoint them as well.

Recovering from a really kick ass party two days later ... proves that it really was spectacular. I know somebody must've had a really interesting car ride home ... and somebody's stomach is still not happy tonight on his way to work. It would be interesting to be a silent observer to watch a certain somebody wobbly bike home (30 min away I might add) at 8:30 in the morning looking completely out of it. But it was well worth it. Between the makeshift "campfire", the crazy football game, and the walk to see the sunrise I think we just about had it. One accident prone person in football, one extremely drunk person in football, a couple of fully dressed swimmers, and the "I Never" queen was de-reined, the fantasy talks ... now that was something (some new things to think of), then the crazy ducks and weird water noises as we sat on the docks ... I'd love to see those pics. Then back home for a 2 hour nap ... that's about all it was ... and a nap in a pink lemonade puddle for some, the morning sickness from a whole night of drinking .... and of course the clean up after the whole thing - being completely exhausted and hot from the sun ... but I repeat - it was well worth it. Then the night in the tent with a sick boyfriend was not what I pictured it to be ... but it was kinda .... fun? Listening to the rain splattering on the roof, feeling the kinks in the back from sleeping on the tent floor .... Like I said there was good parts and bad parts. But apparently all will be made up to me on Labour day weekend so that will be good. Also ended up being invited to another party for next weekend out of the deal so that is something to look forward to as well. That and the fact that I've only got two more days of vacation left makes me really cherish the fun weekend and party I had, and all the fun that everyone else had as well. 'Till next year my friends!!! ;-)

Well school has started, homework has already been assigned, my life as we now know it will be completely different. No more sleeping in, loafing around, and going out and staying up to all hours of the night. This weekend was a fun one. Went to the Blainville festival with amusement rides and those little games that fairs always have, and some really kickass fireworks that lasted about 20 min. Not too bad for a little town in the boonies ... lol. Some things I learned last night - "I'll win you a teddy bear" ... uhh sure if you think you can then you can in your mind ... but it's okay I came away with 2 little toys anyways, some people just can't be replaced no matter the circumstances and will always be missed no matter what, and I'll never become a millionaire - those questions are pretty difficult once you get to the $64 000 questions. Well onto tonight's party I suppose ... hope all goes well and things work out. It will be quite interesting. Gotta get prepared mentally fo this one.

A few updates to end off the month. Got my film developped so there's some nice pics I'll be sharing. First off is the b-day pics from July 19th. You know it's a good thing when your friend's mom comments on how cute your boyfriend is and asks if he's got an older brother ... ;-) So go here to check out my hunky boyfriend with some Molson Dry girls. Next off is the pics from the Molson Dry Party Patrol that finally made it online (I mean the party was August 4th ... you'd think they could update a bit more frequently) and that picture is here. Hope you enjoys then all ... I know the parties themselves were amazingly fun, and the pics will be a lasting memory.
