Well an interesting weekend just passed. Starting off by being in the middle of a riot on Thursday, then it just got better. Just our luck we pick the McDonald's that the riot police had to protect. Plus the worst of it was that we missed it all because it happened while we were eating. Had to get ushered out the backdoor of the McDonald's - that was neat - kinda movie-ish but in the movies it's much cleaner I think. Then Friday night was the spectacular performance of Peter Pan at John Abbott College. Got to see a friend perform - got the autograph too - just in case she becomes famous. The set was amazing as was the acting. I think this was the best play I"ve seen yet. Even through my play marathon I didn't see anything spectacular (all were great, but this topped it). It was all good except for the "Mermaid's Lagoon" when the front row, center audience got smoked/fogged out by the mist in their lagoon. I think it was noticible to all by the time intermission came that we needed the 15 min break for air ;-) Then on Saturday night was the greatperformance by a few bands we know. Local talent is so much more fun to go and see. Some great performance by a certain stripping lead singer, some will never forget "Nurse Betty" nor the colour of her bra, saw an amazing tatoo ;-), heard some great "oldies but goodies", got to play cheap pool (I won ;-Þ), got up to dance a bit and got tipsy off plenty of inexpensive quarts of beer. Sunday night was a bit more relaxing, but still had the presence of some friends who popped over. Laughs and stories were exchanged, things accomplished, so it too was a good night. So a great weekend was had by all. One more week left of school so that too is something to look forward. Only have two tests, one assignment and two finals (as well as helping out on a few other papers) to finish off the year. Hope all works out. ;-)

Well it's officially no school mode. Except for 2 exams so I guess as of the 24th I can turn my brain off. I had a really amazing last day of school. From 1PM to 9PM of shopping and walking downtown was tirering but we had a great time. First off was the walk along St Hubert streetand meeting up with a new friend in that certain store. Over 6 feet tall, blond hair and blue eyes - somebody's in love - even bought him flowers. But it was fun flirting and teasing him just the same. I got some good dating advice and the possibility of a job - "I've got to choose from these five and now with yours is six ... you know what? *RIP* I don't like her. So now it's again 5 to choose from". When you watch a person rip up a CV in front of you to make room for yours, it's a pretty good sign. Then it was meeting up with a long lost RHSer. Hung out with him until supper. He didn't want what McLean's had - he NEEDED his fast food McDonald's trio. Well whatever. Then it was fun watching the two of them get tipsy off a pitcher of beer all shared. Then off again to go walking underground, stealing some (quite a bit actually) sprays of colongne to prepare for clubbing, sitting by a waterfall at Place Ville Marie (very neat I must say) and getting sprayed, a few "holy moly"s were cute as well as an exchange of numbers "if he comes to pick me up and I'm drunk, I'm giving him both your numbers" hmm sounds interesting .... Back home at 10 and collapsing in bed at 11:30 for sleeping. Saturday night turned out to be unexpected. A movie night that got distracted is the best way to explain it I think. Rented 3 movies, had 7 hours to watch them but ended up watching only one. But at least I got to see it so now the sequel will make more sense to me on Monday. So it wasn't a complete bust - some distractions seem better than you think. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around ;-)

"Do you remember when days were like that? I was loving you, in return you loved that". "We'll be okay as long as you don't ask me to stay". "I've never had a dream come true 'til the day that I met you". "A part of me will always be with you". What does it say when lyrics say more to you that your friends do? c

The summer seems to be looking up. At least this long weekend was worth it. Talk about efficiency - drop off a CV on Thursday, phone call Thursday night, interview Saturday. I'll be finding out soon I guess. Another job interview for Wed as well as things getting wrapped up about my license. Hopefully if all goes well I can mail in my medical form by next week and start looking at my book again. Sat was pretty much movie night - Shaft and Anti-Trust thne the sleepover. Sunday was eventful - helping summerize the house, a hellish canoe ride on the river (but it did get better - next time we'll find an island to picnic on okay?), more movies - a screaming one - Deep Blue Sea (how many times did she scream? I never do that!!!!) and of course The Emperor's New Groove ;-) Today was grass cutting (or dirt blowing) and my first bike ride of the summer. Now to study for chemistry and prep myself for the inevitable - finding out my biology mark. ;-) P.S. I also finished the book Summer Sisters by Judy Blume this day. I got it from a good friend for Christmas and decided now was an appropriate time to read it. It's a good book - I recommend it to everyone. It's funny how in those two characters I recognize myself and other friends - makes you think of things.

Get a phone call from a former telephone buddy and you should see the look that gets. Oh and I learned something today - interviews done in french turn into disasters for me.
