almost as much fun to make as it is to eat!!!
1 package. (16 oz.) chocolate sandwich cookies 3-1/2 cups cold milk 2 packages (4-serving size each) chocolate flavor instant pudding & pie filling (or try a fudge flavor!) 1 tub (12 oz.) Non-dairy whipped topping, thawed 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional) Crush cookies in zipper-style plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor. Pour cold milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in 3 cups of the whipped topping, 1/2 of the crushed cookies and the chocolate chips (optional) Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies. Now, heres the fun part! Let the little darlings decorate assorted cookies (oblong shaped sandwich cookies make great tombstones, as do fudge covered wafers!!) with decorator icings to make "tombstones". Stand "tombstones" in dessert, adding various Halloween type candies, (example; gummy worms, candy corn, you get the idea!) Drop dollops of remaining whipped topping, by spoonfuls, onto dessert to make ghosts (take a few of the chocolate chips, use for the ghosts eyes!). Refridgerate about 1 hour or until ready to serve. Store any leftover dessert in refrigerator. Treats? |
