Cat Eye Cookies
 1 pouch sugar cookie mix
Red and Yellow food coloring
1 small package butterscotch hard candies, crushed
chocolate sprinkles or shaved chocolate pieces

Prepare sugar cookie dough as directed, but add food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
Place in refridgerator until well chilled.
Roll out dough.
Using a round cookie cutter (or hands), shape cookies.
Place on cookie sheet and return to fridge.

(if you have an oval shaped cutter, this next step isn't necessary)
Once chilled again, gently stretch dough, pulling the edges so you have an oval cat eye shape.
Cut almond shapes out of ovals,
leaving about 1/4 inch top and bottom,
be careful NOT to cut to very edge.
Remove almond shapes (You can roll these up and make more cookies or just bake as is, sprinkled with a bit of chocolate)
Carefully place broked candies in openings, fill to edges.
...Bake as directed, or until butterscotch candies have melted.
Use chocolate sprinkles for "furry eyelids" on the eyes and for the center pupil.......
Now Purr!!!!!!!!!
