foolish wisdom

If I am wise, I dare not admit it since people would consider it foolish and never believe it.. If I am a fool, I dare not admit it since people would consider it true and never forget it.
If a wise man never speaks up, nobody knows he is wise. If a fool keeps silent, people think he's wise (Proverbs 17:28).
I think this is the quandary we have that makes everybody fall back to the statement "well that's just your opinion".
But when you say that you are basically admitting that the absolute truth can't be known.
So we in a sense continue to try & fight our way out of a paper bag. Or we resign and just settle for our own faulty judgment as our guide based on our limited understanding.
There's another option that some take: Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge the Lord in all of your ways and He will make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6) The problem is, some consider this wisdom as foolishness. And others consider it "your opinion."
This also verifies another truth that a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, so that no one may boast before Him.
It boils down to us embracing God's wisdom even if at times it appears to be foolish. If we do not, we reside in the arena of pride (i insist my way is the way it should be) by default.
Are you the god of your own life?
