In case you couldn't tell this page is for the people who are either members of Gambit's family, women that are either his friends or that he has at one point fell in love with and his enemies. And a few people that one day he'll get along with and the next day he wont. Anyway they are put into three catagories: Family, Women (because that's really all I have under the friends catagory at the moment and of course the last one is enemies.
Jean Luc LeBeau:Gambit's adopted father.When Gambit was a pup living on the streets Jean Luc caught Gambit trying to steel his wallet. He automatically to a liking to the kid and took him in and raised him as a son. Since Jean Luc was the "Guild Master" of the famous Thieves Guild Remy was pretty much next in line for the throne. After Remy stole the Elixer of Life Jean Luc banished him from New Orleans
Henri LeBeau:Gambit's older brother who taught him everything he knows about being a thief. In the Gambit miniseries he goes to the mansion to tell Gambit that he needs to come back to New Orleans to stop his brother-in-law, who was thought to be dead, from starting another war but the Assasians Guild fallowd him and killed him on the balcony.
Lapin:He is Gambit's cousin and he made his appearance in the Rogue series. They had been friends since they were pups.
Marius:Marius is Gambit's father-in-law and the leader of the Assasins Guild. Marius didn't like Gambit to much because he killed both his son Julian and his daughter Belladonna(countless times) Marius died during the Rouge miniseries.
Julien:Gambit's brother-in-law, who he killed, was the reason Gambit was kicked out of New Orleans in the first place. He found out later on that he was still alive. Julien was "addicted" to the Elixer of Life and was ready to kill his own family in order to get it. Marius killed him in the end of the Gambit miniseries.
Tante Maddie:She is the nurse of the Guilds. She took care of Gambit when he was a child and watched over Storm in the first couple of apperences that Gambit made in the X-Men. She also took care of Belladonna when she was in her coma, and watched over Cody in the Rogue miniseries. Belladonna:Gambit's best friend from New Orleans who he ended up marrying through an arrangement between the Theives Guild and the Assasins Guild to stop a war between them. Shortly after they were married he killed her brother Julien and was kicked out of New Orleans. Shortly after he joined the X-Men Belladonna went to Gambit to ask for his help with the Brood that was killing off the two Guilds. Her and Psylocke were trying to save Ghost Rider from it and she got killed. In the Gambit minisereis Gambit found out that she was near death so he went back to New Orleans and stold the Elixer of Life to save her. She woke up not remembering who she due to the touch of Rogue. For revenge in the Rogue miniseries she she kidnapped Gambit and Rogue's old friend Cody.
Rogue:This is a relationship that changes from day to day. One day Rogue loves Gambit and then the next day she doesn't. As always Gambit loves her though and will not give up on her even though she doesn't treat him to well. They started off really well shortly after meeting Gambit. But everytime she finds out something about his past she up and leaves him. In the episodes that come before the Gambit's trial they finally end up together since her powers have temporarily been negated. Then comes the trial of Gambit and they all found out that Gambit played a roll in the Morlock Massacre and so she leaves him in Antartica and tells him that he no longer has a home with the X-Men or herself and if he wants to survive than he can do it on his own. A short time after she left Gambit she realized that it was his thoughts in her head that she abosrbed during her kiss in his trial made him leave him there and she goes back to find him but she can't find him. Now that Gambit's back she's trying to get him back. I really wish the people at Marvel would make up thier mind weather they want them together or not.
Storm:Storm and Gambit have been best friends ever since he saved her from the Shadow King when she was trapped in the body of a child. They were partners in crime for awhile robbing the bad guys and giving the stuff back to their rightfull owners. She is the only one of the X-Men that Gambit really considers a friend.
Candra:The external Candra is the Benefactress of the guilds of New Orleans wich she formed hundreds of years ago. She is the one who gives the elixer of life to the thieves and the power to the assasins. At one point in Gambit's past they shared a fling in Paris it discusses this in the Gambit miniseries.
Genevieve Darceneaux:Genevieve is the daughter of an infamous jewel thief. To be a member of the Thieves Guild Gambit seduced and stoled the L'Etroile du Tricherie from her after she had stolen it from someone else. Sabertooth had been hired to get it back from Genevieve by the person she had stolen it from. Sabertooth held both Genevieve and Gambit's brother Henri from Notre Dame so that Gambit would give the pendant to him. He dropped them both and Gambit was only able to save his brother leaving her to fall to her death.
Alexandra Davies:Gambit once helped this Brittish police officer whome he helped to catch Yukio after he framed him for stuff that she did herself. Gambit soon found himself falling for her because of her sweetness, honor, and trust but she resisted him because of his life. She was later killed during the Gambit and Wolvering minisereis.
Lila Cheney:This is Gambit's love intrest in during the Age of Apocolypse. He ended up with her after Rogue left him for Magneto. Until she found out that she was a mutant with the ability to demension jump she was the only human of the X-ternal gang. After she found out she then jumped the team back in forth from earth and space to get the M'Kraan crystal. Sabertooth:Gambit and Sabertooth share a very rocky past and have been enemies for a long time. Several times Sabertooth has threatened to tell the X-Men about Gambit's past and he has also gotten in the way of Gambit and Rogue's already rocky relationship.
Sinister:Sinister is another of Gambit's big enimies he was the one who hired Gambit to gather the Marauders and lead them through the morlock tunnels thus involving Gambit in the Morlock Massacre.
Eric the Red/Magneto:He was the one who reveled Gambit's past to the X-Men during what is known as the Trial of Gambit.
Bishop:When he first came to the X-Men Bishop accused Gambit of being the X-traitor since he was thought to be the witness, the last surviving X-Men. Now that he knows he wasn't the traitor and that it was Onslaught they are trying to get along with one another instead of trying to kill eachother.
Yukio:Since Yukio is a thief Gambit and her don't tend to get along. Since Gambit steels stuff and returns it to their rightful owners and Yukio just steels anything of value they are always in trouble with one another. But they both agree that Storm is a good freind and together the three of them beat the Phalanx.
