Warhammer Fantasy!

Welcome to the Fantasy page which I have created! Click on the name of the army you like and take a look at some examples of different war machines, special characters and infantry units.

The Empire is the largest and most powerful realm in the Old World. Its borders stretch from the Grey Mountains in the south to the Forest of Shadows in the north, encompassing prosperous cities, dark forests, tall mountains and continent-spanning rivers. The Empire must be ever vigilant against invasions from Orcs and Goblins, Undead, Chaos, and more.

The Empire Army is as diverse as the land they protect with dark-armored knights, powerful battle-hardened infantry, and battery upon battery of artillery. Below is a small selection of the Empire range from Citadel Miniatures, representing some of the diversity of the Empire Army.

When Dwarfs form an army it is a mighty sight. With rank after rank of stalwart infantry, grim lines of elite troops, and the steel wall of deadly artillery, few foes relish the thought of charging into battle against such determined troops as the Dwarfs.

While prying the battle secrets out of established Dwarf Generals is not easy (even with lots of ale), it is not hard to put together a tough Dwarfen Army. There are loads of great troops, heroes, and war machines to select from. A Dwarf General really is spoiled for choice when it comes time to select great looking models. The following are just some of the Citadel Miniatures in the Dwarf range.

With the creaking of bones and a silent scream, the forces of the Vampire Counts gather themselves (sometimes literally) for war! A Vampire Counts army is a nightmare to fight against. Its troops cause fear or worse, making your own regiments run away or refuse to fight. Unfortunately, fear is not the only thing you have to worry about. Undead spellcasters (ancient Vampires and diabolical Necromancers) have access to spells that allow them to raise more troops as the battle rages on, creating wave after wave of the living dead.

Undead Generals have quite a large selection of troops, from cannibalistic Ghouls to the powerful Wraiths. Below is just a sample of what Citadel Miniatures has to offer the Undead player.

WAAAGH! The Orcs and Goblins pour forth like a rolling green sea. From the speedy Wolf Riders to the slow-but-stupid Trolls there is no other single Warhammer Army that can match the number of troop types (or sheer amount of troops!) that the diverse Orc and Goblin Army can offer.

Sure, your troops may occasionally fight amongst themselves, and sure, larger Orcs will often eat their smaller brethren, but when everything works correctly there is simply no stopping an Orc and Goblin Army. Below are just some of the many models Citadel Miniatures produces for the vast Orc and Goblin range!

Like a skittering verminous tide a Skaven army advances in an avalanche of angry fur and teeth! The Chaos Rat-men known as Skaven are always knee-deep in a different vile plan to take over and unite the world into one nation under the rule of the thirteen Lords of Decay.

Using their webwork of tunnels under every major city and port, the Skaven world domination plan relies on each of the major clans. To complete the master plan the Skaven must use the cunning and espionage of the Assassins of Clan Eshin, deadly plagues released by Clan Pestilens, the vast fighting numbers found in the warrior clans, the hideously powerful inventions of Clan Skryre, and the mutant beasts created by Clan Moulder!

Few sights are more glorious than seeing an entire High Elven Army spread out before you. The neat, orderly ranks of infantry and archers, supported by small regiments of cavalry. With bright colors, shining mail, and rippling banners, the High Elves look refined and elegant - but don't be fooled. In time of battle there is no other army in the Warhammer World more skilled in the art of war!

With pinpoint archery, lightning fast cavalry strikes, and the most powerful sorcery in the game, a High Elf Army can keep the foe at bay, even when badly outnumbered! Following are just a few of the available Citadel Miniatures of the High Elf Army of Ulthuan!

From their bleak and unwelcoming homeland of Naggaroth, the Land of Chill, the Dark Elves set forth to raid the Old World or to wreak revenge on their most bitter enemies, the High Elves. Indeed, Dark Elf armies are often dispatched to search for slaves either to carry out the menial, but vital, tasks that no self-respecting Dark Elf would dream of performing, or to serve as the living victims offered to their vile gods.

Travelling aboard the Black Arks, the mightiest sea-going vesssels in the Warhammer World, the Dark Elves make landfall and carve a bloody path of terror raids up and down the coasts. Before armies can muster against them, the Dark Elves have already dragged countless souls back to the Black Ark to begin a fate worse than death.

When a foe actually does come face to face with a Dark Elf force, the sight is a chilling one. Arrayed for battle there are few sights more menacing than a Dark Elf army.

The Wood Elves, although normally a peaceful and reclusive race, will go to any lengths to protect their forest realm of Athel Loren. Tirelessly the Scouts and Waywatchers keep a protective eye on the borders. Should need arise, an army can be quickly mustered, with regiments of the legendary Wood Elf Archers, units of Glade Guard, Glade Riders, Wardancers, and more.

The forest itself offers up its allegiance to the Wood Elves, in the form of the mysterious Dryads, powerful Treemen, Giant Eagles, Warhawks, and even massive Forest Dragons! To this day the ancient woods of Athel Loren have never been successfully invaded! The following is just a small sample of the Citadel Miniatures line available for the mighty Wood Elf Army.

A Chaos Army is a horrifying sight to behold. Ask any Warhammer General what army he fears most, and more often than not the answer will come back Chaos. A Chaos player has a choice of three different armies to play each with a plethora of troops to select from, including powerful characters, mighty sorcerers, monstrous troop types, solid infantry, and hard-hitting cavalry. This isn't even mentioning the foul daemons of Chaos that furiously tear their way into reality to ravage the Old World!!!

The Chaos gods also give special gifts, marks, and boons to their favored. These take the form of cards (found in the Realm of Chaos boxed set) that can prove xceptionally useful at critical points in the game. As the gods are fickle though, things don't always turn out as planned - especially on the battlefield! Below are just some of the models and troops you can field in a Chaos Army.

The jungle is filled with the tribal beating of many drums and the bestial roars of the gathering Lizardmen army. Led by the ancient, but powerful Slann Mage Priests, the Lizardmen advance - hordes of speedy Skinks, brutal Sauruses, and the towering Kroxigors. Wheeling in the sky above are Terradons, and the very beasts of the swamp slither and crawl forward. The unmistakable croaking roar of Cold Ones can be heard, and the ominous ground-shaking tread of a mighty Stegadon spells out impending doom to any that dare face the wrath of the Lizardmen army.

The army of Bretonnia is a shining example of the histories and traditions set forth by Gilles le Breton at the foundation of their fair and noble land. The land of Bretonnia is protected by its powerful knights and steadfast men-at-arms.

The strength of Bretonnia lies in its Knights. The Knights are bound by the rules of chivalry and are sworn to protect their lands and people from all harm. There are several standings of Knights, the mightiest are the Grail Knights, those who have successfully completed their quest and have sipped from the grail, the lowest order of knighthood are the Knights Errant, while the land is guided by ever watchful Knights of the Realm.

Below is a list of armies which I have found a army picture for, this is a full army. I have no idea how many points they are so don't ask. If you have any requested armies which you would like to see, E-mail me (address at the bottom of the screen).
