SONG OF SOLOMON 5:2-6

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom, and five of them were wise and five of them were foolish. they that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, "Behold, the bridegroom cometh: go ye out to meet Him." Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed thier lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, "give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out." but the wise answered, saying, "Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you; but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy yourselves." And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were READY went in with Him to the marriage; and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other (foolish) virgins, saying, "Lord Lord, open to us." But He answered and said, "Verily I say unto you, I know you not." Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:1-13

All of the ten were virgins, all slumbered and slept, all heard the cry at midnight, all of them arose, all of them trimmed thier lamps...

5 were wise

Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and DOETH them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock. Matthew 7:24-27

5 of them were foolish

And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them NOT, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand, and the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:24-27

The wise and the foolish heard the sayings of Jesus, both encountered trials and tribulations.

For many are called, but FEW are chosen. (Matthew 22:14)

Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go thereat; Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW be there that find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are My friends, IF YE DO WHATSOEVER I COMMAND YOU. John 15:13-14

Are you one of the wise virgins? Are you doing whatsoever the Lord commands you? Are you His friend?

Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord" shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

For many are called, but few are chosen... many say they are christians, but few are. Many say they have repented, but few really do. Can the Father forgive sins without repentance? Do you believe were in the last days? Are you living your life as if Christ could come tomorrow? Your appointment with death, can come at any time. It may be today or tomorrow... and then what will you say to the Lord? Have you forsaken all, have you carried your cross?

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment. And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 22:11-13

It is time to awake out of our sleep and slumber my friends... It is time we examined our relationship with Christ, what are we doing? Are you abiding in Jesus Christ? He is the vine and we are the branches.. yet any branch that does not abide in the vine, Jesus Christ, withers away and is burned.. Ye are the salt of the world, but if your salt has lost its savour, it is good for nothing.

And that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darknesws, and let us put on the amour of light. Romans 13:11-12

Therefore let us not sleep as do others; but let us Watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 1 Thess 5:6-8

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, NOT AS FOOLS, BUT AS WISE. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore but ye Not Unwise, but UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WILL OF THE LORD IS. Ephesians 5:14-17

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left His house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore; for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at evening, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning. Lest comming Suddenly, He find you Sleeping. And what I say unto you, I say unto all, WATCH. Mark 13:34-37

Are you watching? Are you sleeping? Are you doing the will of the Father? Are you still captivated by the world? Still following the rotten flesh? Still allowing satan to rule your life? Still sinning away? This is the modern church... the apostate church. The bible clearly states that there shall come a great falling away, the great apostasy, falling away from the truth... before our Lord returns... before the anti-christ. The great apostasy is now my friends, only open your eyes and see. "When the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith?" Luke 18:8

Because I have called, and ye refused, I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded... then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek my early, but they shall not find me. Prov 1:24,28

...when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. Isaiah 65:12,13

I sleep, but my heart waketh; It is the voice of my Beloved that knocketh saying, "Open to Me, My sister, My love, My dove, My undefiled: For My head is filled with dew, and My locks with the drops of the night."

but I said, "I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?"

My Beloved put in His hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for Him.

I rose to open to my Beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.

I opened to my Beloved, but my Beloved had withdrawn Himself, and was gone; my soul failed when He spake; I sought Him, but I could not find Him; I called Him, but He gave me no answer. Song of Solomon 5:2-6

How very sad... her Beloved had come for her, in the night. He called to her, He knocked upon her door. She heard his voice, she heard the knock, He said open to me, my love... but she made excuses... I have taken off my coat, perhaps her wedding garment. I have washed my feet... sounds like religion. Her Beloved even put his hand to the door.. but only found it locked... "Behold, I stand at the door and knock" but she did not open to Him did she? And then it was too late...

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning: And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their Lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when He Cometh and Knocketh, they may open unto him IMMEDIATELY. Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He cometh, shall find watching. Luke 12:35-37

Keep the faith, stand, faint not, watch and pray, abide in Jesus. amen
