He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. (Rev. 22:13) He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the King Eternal, the Incarnate Word, the Holy Lord, He is Wonderful, our Counselor, Beautiful, the Mighty God. He is our Advocate, our Atonement, and Propitiation. He is the Light of the gentiles, He is our Avenger, He is the rain from Heaven. He is the Revealer of secrets. He is our Anchor, the Bright and Morning Star. He is our Day Star, the Desire of all nations. He is our Master. He is the Book of Life. He is the Truth. He is the Way and the Life. He is the Light. The Door, the Rock, the Shepherd, the Lion, the Lamb, Our Salvation, the Lover of our Soul. Jesus Christ is the Angel of the Lord. He is the begotten Son of God, the Judge, the King of Israel. He is the breath of Life. He is our burnt offering, our Alter, our Sacrifice, the Spotless Lamb without blemish. He is Prophet, Priest and King.

He is the firstborn son, the firstborn among many brethren, the firstborn of every creature, the firstborn from the dead. Jesus is the son of David, the Son of God, and the son of man. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Creator, the Annointed One, the Christ, the Messiah. He is the Capstone and Head Stone, the Chief Shepherd, Our Mercy Seat. Jesus is the smitten Rock. (Ex. 17:6) Our Lord is the Sceptre and Governor that rose out of Israel, (Gen 49:10, Num 24:17, Mt. 2:6)

Jesus Christ is the "perfect and just weight", the divine Measure for all things. (Deut. 25:15) He is the "just ephah." The "ephah" of fine flour for a sin offering. (lev. 5:11) Jesus Christ is the "Star out of Jacob" and the Sun of Righteousness, (Num 24:17, Mal 4:2) He is King of the Jews. He is our "door of hope" (Hos. 2:15) "His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were as a flame of fire." (Rev. 2:14) "His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: His belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires." (Song 5:14) Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, the Temple, the Family, the Body, the Wife, the Bride, and the Army, He is to be our "first love". Our risen King is our heavenly Joshuah, the captain and chief leader of our salvation. He is the Light of the New Jerusalem. The Holy One of Israel, The Bishop of our souls. He is the Light from Heaven, He is our sin offering, our Heavenly scapegoat, Jesus Christ is the "hidden wisdom" (1 Cor 2:7) and the "hidden mann" (Rev 2:17) Jesus is the arm of the Lord, He is our Shield and our High Tower, a very present help in time of trouble. He is the chief Singer, the Ram, the Pillar, the True Vine. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Jesus Christ is the Rock from which we "suck honey" (Deut. 32:13) Jesus Christ is the "chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, His locks are bushy, and black as a raven." (Song 5:10-11) Jesus Christ is the Balm of Gilead, the Great Physician (Jer 8:22) He is the Comforter who sent the Holy Spirit, "another comforter".

He is Jehovah Rapha, "the Lord that healeth." (Ex 15:26) Jesus is the Heavenly Ezekiel, the priest-prophet determined to do the will of the Father whose forehead is stronger than flint. (Ezekiel 3:9) He is the Light of Israel, the devouring fire which burned the thorns and briers (the curse) "in one day" (Is. 10:17) Our Lord is the Potter. He is the divine bullock and ram, the bread and the oil, all in "one basket". (Ex. 29:3) Our Savior is the "basket" of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord (Ex. 29:23, Jn 6:48) The Good Shepherd is the Good Samaritan who has bound up our wounds, pouring in oil and win (Luke 10:34) By His stripes we are healed. Jesus Christ is the heavenly Barak, the Captain of our salvation (Heb. 2:10) He is Heaven's Lightning Bolt, the Fathers Flaming Sword, the Arrow that went forth as the lightning (Zech 9:14) "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore." (Rev. 2:18) His face is "as the appearance of lightning and His eyes as lamps of fire." (Dan. 10:6) Jesus is the heavenly David who "went barefoot" and ascended Mount Olives, weeping as He went up. (2 Sam. 15:30, Lk 21:37, 22:39)

Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life which came down from Heaven. He was the "appointed barley"--Heir of all things, (Is 28:25, Heb 1:2) He is seen in the Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and of Tabernacles. Balaam predicted King Jesus, "Out of Jacob shall come He that shall have dominion." (Num 24:19, Ps 72:8, Mt 28:18) Daniel was thrown into a den of lions sealed with a stone, Jesus was placed into a tomb sealed with a stone. He is the Stone of Israel, our Kinsmen Redeemer, our Daysman. "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and His name is called the Word of God." (Rev. 19:12) He is our Mediator for whom Job cried, the One who laid His Hand on both God and man. (Job 9:33) He is the chief cornerstone, elect and precious. (1 Peter 2:4,6) He is the Servant of Jehovah. (Is 42:1)

He is the Husband, and we are the bride, the Elect Lady of 2nd John. He is Immanuel, God with us. The Word made flesh. In Ezra, He is the heavenly Zerubbabel, our Governor, our heavenly Ezra, our Priest and Scribe, the One who restores order to society, the heavenly Cyrus, King of all, the heavenly Jeshua, the Foundation of the Temple, the Intercessor and Advocate. Jesus Christ is our Refuge and Strength. He is our Teacher, our Helper, our Friend. He is the heavenly Boaz who winnows barely in the threshing floor, sifting the harvest. (Ruth 3:2) He will bless His church with seven "measures of barely" - the "seven Spirits of God", The Spirit without measure. (Ruth 3:15, 2:17, Rev 1:4, 3:1, 4:5, 5:6, Jn 3:34).

He is the "one stone" with seven eyes, the seven Spirits of God. In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead (Col 2:9) He is the Harvester, who thrusts in His sharp sickle. He is the sharp Stone which circumcises our hearts. Jesus is the Sower. Jesus Christ is Heavens store-house, in whom are hhid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Prov 2:4, Col 2:3) He is our Savior.

"He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass; as showers water the earth." (Psalm 72)
