This paper will review material very useful for Christians in witnessing to Muslims in their own culture through friendship. A brief introduction to Islam and familiarization with the Muslim culture and the reasons behind it aid in making the message of salvation have significance. By knowing what to avoid and what bridges to use, one can better connect with his/her Muslim friend rather than offend his/her Muslim friend. Most of what follows are generalizations about followers of Islam. Each individual Muslim or Muslim culture may have quite different views.
