At one time I used to be a decent artist but for some reason I chose science over art. With a brain so packed full of facts and figures it was hard to be creative, to find time to work on your masterpieces. That's one reason why there is so much more fan art. You don't really have to think to do it. Take a scene from a story, play up on given character traits, simple. I've decided I'm putting aside the new fan work for now and trying my hand at some new projects. I did a test run this spring and ended up taking Category II in NOW's Love Your Body Day poster campagin. Who knows what'll happen next if I keep trying.
