The Writing Tree Home

Let's get started! Born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, Michael E. Altman, taught English at Steel Valley High School in Munhall, Pennsylvania from 1991 until his retirement in June of 2023. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY with a B.A. in English. He also received his teaching degree from California University of Pennsylvania. The Writing Tree culminates over forty-five years of his own writing struggles coupled with thirty-three years of teaching others to write. He hopes these pages prove helpful.
