Daddies and Daughters

A father is someone you keep dear to you.
He knows what you need
He always knows what to do.

He is the one who gave you peace in your head
By scaring off monsters that hid under your bed.

He has his uniqueness
He's different from mom
Though hair's not his specialty
When you're weak he is strong.

He might have his own way of going about
Handling girl problems mom's know more about

But just because he isn't mom doesn't mean
That he doesn't think of you as his little queen.

Dad's and their daughters have a special bond
One thing that we share with him and not mom.

He loves us so dearly
He is patient and true
For you, his dear daughter
Were his one dream come true.

Daddy's Little Girls

There's nothing more rewarding
Than the Love of a child
From that day they are born
To their very first smile

Though dependent on us
They seem to find their own way
Through trial and error
As they mature by the day

Being a Father myself
I was blessed with two girls
Two precious little Angels
With their pretty little curls

They fill my house with their songs
And their cute arts and craft
For they tickle me so
From the joy in their laugh

Though silly at times
They're smart as a whip
It's hard to catch them off guard
Or even give them the slip

I enjoy all those moments
They spend by my side
For I'm there when they're happy
And I'm there when they cry

They're my two precious Angels
The treasure in my world
And I will always put them first
For they're Daddy's little girls
