Little Known 'Nsync Facts

That they're total freaks, as this picture clearly shows.

'Nsync has been out for 92 weeks & is still in the top 50, coming in, this week, at #33.

'Nsync and Backstreet Boys use to be label mates, then weren't for a year, and now are back together. Ah, they just love eachother so much.

That 'Nsync's second official book: Inside Nsync sold out nation wide which means there won't be anymore unless they decide to do a completely new printing. The old dude at the book store where I got mine said:

"Kids these days...they can't wait 5 seconds to have something new. That thing flew off the shelves. We just couldn't keep it stalked up...they kept bringing me new boxes full of the book and I'd say, "More I need More books!" and then all of a sudden there weren't anymore boxes full of books, no more books. So I call the book store across town, same thing happened there. Look (pulls it up on his computer) their sold out everywhere!"

- Old Man at the Book Store (as told to me by my Mom)

That 'Nsync is the only boy band of the 90's to have had two top 10 albums out at the same time. For two weeks 'Nsync's debut album was #4 and 'Nsync's "Home For Christmas" album was #6.

That Justin and JC wrote "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays."

That "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time On You" was never released as a single but entered Billboard's Single Chart.

That 'Nsync shirts, posters, hats, shoes (do they have those yet?), buttons, etc. can account for more than 50% of the group's total earnings.

That they were certified gold in Germany before their album was even released.

That "I Want You Back" was the fastest rising single in Germany. Yes, even faster than the man himself Micheal Jackson and the men themselves BSB.

In the October 30th issue of Billboard magazine, 'Nsync's Official Website was #1 in the "Average Minutes per visitor per month":

1. *NSYNC - 14.1 2. MTV - 12 3. Tunes - 11.1 4. Billboard - 9.3 5. MP3 - 9.3

That in the "Here We Go" video the team 'Nsync plays is actually a professional basketball team: Australia's. 'Nsync beat em, though.

That Joey use to listen to New Kids On The Block. (I just thought that one was kinda funny. Are you hangin' tough Joey?)

That "Music Of My Heart" went to #1 on the sales charts.

That the guys wrote 'Giddy Up.'

'Nsync's debut album has been on the Billboard Charts for over 19 months and it's still in the top 50.

That an 'Nsync song is played every 5 minutes all around the world. (I don't know how someone figured that out. I guess they just kinda sat there and counted.)

That the 'N the Mix video has been in the top 20 video rankings for over 17 months.

That Backstreet Boys wish they were 'Nsync. I know, it's a little known fact, but you know it's true.

That 'Nsync's average fan is 17 years old. (Yeah, who thought that up? More like 12.)

That 'Nsync's debut album has sold over 8.5 million copies and counting...

That 'Nsync's highest position on Billboard was #2, they've never reached it to #1.

But, if you combined all of 'Nsync's sellings they could have been #1 over 15 times.

The reason why they never got to #1, record executives say, was because so many people bought the album at different times that it was hard for them to get a 'solid number' of sellings in 1 week. Or in regular terms: everybody bought the album at different times, instead of all of us planning to buy it on the same day.

To beat Backstreet Boys new album: Millenium's record sales 'Nsync would have to sell over 1 million copies in one day. Reserve like 500 copies now so they'll sell a lot.

'No Strings Attatched' is one of the most anticipated album's of this year and is predicted to be the album of the new millenium. Kind of ironic don't ya think?

'Nsync's dream is to record a song that will be considered a classic. I think 'Giddy Up' will don't you?

Most boy bands last an average of, gulp, 3 years. The longest was New Kids On The Block who lasted around 5 years. That was before they burnt down that hotel and got all weird. Remember that?

'Nsync has been #1 on TRL over 83 times.

'Nsync's videos have been on TRL over 217 times. (Ok, so cut Carson some slack the next time he doesn't sound too enthused introducing an 'Nsync video..he's done it before.)

Most cridicts predict that if there's one boy band that's gonna last, it's 'Nsync. SCORE!

The guys of 'Nsync are just regular guys. Sometimes we forget this.

That the guys thought up the idea for the "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time On You" video and Joey thought of the idea for the "I Drive Myself Crazy" video. (So he says...)

For their last tour 'Nsync had 9 buses, as compared to their first U.S. tour where they had only 3.

That in the "I Drive Myself Crazy" video each guy got to personally pick his girl. That gives you a little insight of what each guy likes his girl to look like.

That they hold the record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 on TRL...5 weeks baby.

During the filming of "For The Girl Who Has Everything" Justin fell off his horse and broke his arm. I'm not saying a thing.

That Justin is actually white. It's been proven...we can all sleep at night now.
