I have been playing paintball for a little over two years now. I play with a team called the Bushmasters. We play in Northern California. Usually on our own private field. The team originated in 1984 and has gone through times where there were as many as 40 players and as low as 3 or 4. Right now we have about 5 players that are always there and about 4 or 5 others that play off and on with us when they get the chance.
I shoot a Tippmann 68 carbine. It has been a very good gun and am I very happy with the purchase. Four of the five constant player shoot a Tippmann. We have roughly about 8 Tippmann's on the team between all of the players and three Spyders and 1 VM68. The types of guns we have are 2 Tippmann Carbines,4 Tippmann Pro-Lites,1 Tippmann Mini-Lite,1 Tippmann SL-68,1 Sheridan VM68,and 3 Kingman Spyders.
The reason why I play paintball is because I like the sportsmanship,honesty,and good plain fun of the sport. Paintball has taught me patience,leadership skills,and has given me confidence in myself. Along with this I love the adrenalin rush you get when you have 2 or 3 people shooting at you. I like the feeling that I am hunting something that is also hunting me. The feeling of doing good and knowing that you did good is great. Also having people talk about something you did months later is a real pat on the back. Another great thing is when you do get shot and you learn from your mistake. This also(depending on the field operator)gives you the chance to watch the other players.
