Story: This is the sequel to Freedom 1. That thing shot into orbit on just a D. Good rocket. A little too good. Anyway I got Freedom 2 cause Freedom 1 was exceptional. The first thing I did when I got the kit was I threw out the instructions. I made the body double as the motor tube. I like to call it the flying engine. It was my first rocket to fly on an Aerotech motor. The ejection charge was too powerful for this little buddy. It blew away the nosecone and parachute and left the body to fall and land 20 feet away from where it ascended. I got a new nosecone from Matt's dad. It's a bit more ogive than the original but it still screams. It looks like it is from an Estes Alpha 3. Anyway I had 2 more successful launches and then on the next one the shock cord burnt up. The body tube fell yet again and I went running for the chute and cone. A fin broke when the tube landed and that is why it's on a coaster because it's just a stub now.
