Ringtail Possums
Lily was orphaned with her twin sister Holly. Both came into care as my first ringtails. They were tiny when I got them, but very gorgeous. |
Lily's sister Holly. She was slightly smaller than her "big" sister. |
Little Jarrah was the next to come along - he came from the highlands, and was a gorgeous red colour. He settled in with the girls very quickly. |
Heath was next. He was so tiny and cute, and his little tail was the classic "ring tail" that gives them their name. |
Rose was the final addition to my little Ringtail family. 5 is the most we like to buddy up, as any more than that are too many in the aviary together. Rose has the most gorgeous creamy white tummy. |
Such a Cutie! |
Heath again. |
Jarrah safe and sound in the pouch, after a drink of warm milk. |
Heath and Rose after the bigger ones went into the outside aviary. |
When the girls reached 200g they moved outside into the aviary. |
This drey became their new home. It didn't take them too long to get used to it, and to all the new space. |
