This is Charlie.
When I was little, and living with my parents,
we had a string of cats, and they were all named "Charlie"
This was mainly due to the fact that it was much easier to remember
than a new name for each new cat.
This is also Charlie.
Unlike the last Charlie, this one was a boy.
He was a really pretty pale ginger,
and as you can see, he wanted to be better friends
with our budgie!!!
This is Mekkins.
When Sam and I were first married, and had no children,
Mekkins was our baby.
She had full run of the house, and shared the bed with us at night.
She was the most loving, wonderful companion.
Here is Mekkins again, with her "Auntie",
my Mother's kitten.
You guessed it: Her name is Charlie
They were great mates.
Can you imagine the fun we had taking this photo???
Here are: Misty, our dog; Mekkins; Killer, our rabbit;
and Daryl and Ossie, our budgies.
And I have to say, that they all survived the photo shoot!!!!
And here is our current feline friend, Libby.
We rescued her from the RSPCA, where she faced a rather bleak future.
She has been with us for around 5 years now,
and is just as loved as ever.
